I have had a right hip replaced 14. years ago in Massachusetts. I have had a left knee replaced 16 months ago at Cleveland Clinic in Weston. Both procedures were highly painful day after the procedures, hip was painful two weeks after and knee was extremely painful for 90 days after and up until I had the left hip replaced moderate pain.Cleveland Clinic informed me the left knee was fine and my left hip was arthritic but did not need replacing just yet. Well I was using a crutch because the pain in my left leg was tremendous I finally found Dr Lavelle because I was looking for less invasive surgery and he looked at the x-rays that he took and said I need a hip right away. I had the procedure from Dr Lavelle on October 30th and I was highly medicated when I woke up and was brought into a hospital room but I did not have much pain in the hip that he replaced. The next day I was shocked because the pain was very minimal and I was able to really walk around without a cane or a walker. I believe he stated to me they have new ways of doing these procedures and I think he said he put anesthetic in the wound after it was completed and stitched up. Now I'm 10 days out from the procedure, I went home, I canceled PT because I didn't need it! The pain was very minimal and right now, I'm almost 100% after only 10 days after the procedure. Dr Lavelle's bedside manner was unbelievably courteous and informative and I have nothing but praise for this man's expertise. Thank you Dr Lavelle I was not looking forward to a few weeks of pain, but that was not the case ,unbelievable feels like a miracle

I had a total hip replacement on 8/15/2024. I couldn’t not find an orthopedic surgeon in Broward county to preform the procedure due to the number of years on pain medication. If you believe like I did. I was referred to Dr.Matthew LaVelle. The consultation went better than I expected. His assistant Simone is amazing as well. They answered all my questions and concerns. This team is so awesome kind, understanding and supportive. They strive for excellence when it comes to your health and wellbeing. They need 10⭐️ to rate. I was on my feet the next day and now they gave me back my Quality of life back that I did not have for 10 years words can’t express my gratitude and thank.

Absolutely a wonderful experience. Dr. LaVelle was caring and professional. I felt that I was in excellent hands. The nursing staff was also terrific. I would whole heartedly recommend Dr LaVelle and his staff.
